Stanley, Idaho. One of the most beautiful places on earth. In my humble opinion (IMHO). Stanley is at the cross roads of two scenic byways and is surrounded by 10,000 foot peaks. Located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA), the tiny community of Stanley swells during the summer months with visitors coming to view & play in the majestic mountains which surround Stanley. The White Cloud, the Boulder and Sawtooth Mountain Ranges form a spectacular backdrop for the wide open valley called the Stanley Basin. You'll just have to come yourself to discover why some call the Sawtooths the "American Alps".
