Town & Country Tours & Transportation

We have been serving the sightseeing and transportation needs of the Sun Valley Area for nine years. Town & Country Tours is the only local company fully insured and licensed by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to also provide transportation to Twin Falls, Boise, Galena Lodge, Shoshone, Stanley and Smiley Creek. We are not a taxi company and work on reservations only. This provides highly personalized service. Our drivers are all long time residents of Sun Valley and know the winter roads well. We are licensed by the State of Idaho to offer transportation services for all of Idaho in comfortable motorcoaches, 14 passenger and smaller vans. In addition to our transportation and sightseeing capabilities, we also offer convention and group site coordination in the Sun Valley Area. If you plan to bring your group to Sun Valley, we can save you time and money as your on site representative.

Transportation Rates From/To Sun Valley, Idaho - Winter 1996

$20.00 - One way for 1 or 2 people to/from Hailey Airport.
$8.00 each additional person.

$175.00 - One way for one to eight passengers to/from Twin Falls.
Each additional person $10.00.

$325.00 - One way for one to eight passengers to/from Boise.
Each additional person $12.50.
Note: A once a day bus is available from Boise to Sun Valley at 2:30 p.m and one departing Sun Valley to Boise at 8 a.m. Adult fare is: $40/one way, $70.00/round trip. Kids 10 and under $25/one way, $40.00/round trip. This service starts in the middle of December and lasts through ski season. e-mail for reservations in advance.

$145.00 - Four hour dinner or catered party at Galena Lodge or for cross country skiing (Up to 14 passengers).

$150.00 - One way for one to eight passengers to/from Smiley Creek.
Each additional person $5.00

$175.00 - One way for one to eight passengers to/from Stanley.
Each additional person $5.00

$125.00 - One way for one to eight passengers to/from Shoshone (train Station).
Each additional person $5.00
Note: The train arrives and departs in the middle of the night (often late!) Consider staying at the "Governor's Mansion", a B & B in Shoshone (208) 886-2858 and we can pick you up at your convenience.

Information we need to book your transportation is the day you are arriving, the airline, flight and time you are arriving and the number of people in your party.
